課程概述

本課程在介紹西方古典美學，使學生把握古典美學理論裡關於藝術本質的思想。相對於古典美學，當代美學理論則不再接受藝術具有內在的本質，因此表現為對古典美學理論的反對與顛覆。但是要把握當代美學的理論，恰恰要從它所反對的古典美學理論入手。本課程經由幾個美學的基本課題，包括「美學的誕生」，「品味與審美判斷」，以及「藝術與經驗」等，縱貫自古希臘至二十世紀初的美學發展，其中包含休姆、康德、黑格爾等哲學家，以及模倣理論、表現理論等美學理論。經由這些哲學思想與美學理論，來把握古典美學理論對於藝術本質的不同表述，藉茲理解人的藝術與審美的現象。

課程目標

使學生熟悉美學的基本概念與傳統以來的理論思想。

課程要求

已取得哲學概論學分者優先。
